Born in New Jersey on September 13, 1970, of Port-riquenas roots, Marisol Gonzalez grew up in a poor family of five brothers, later she settled in the town of Utuado, Puerto Rico, where she started to focus on her art and music, returned to NJ then found herself in "The Sunshine State" Florida where her name is becoming known and her work respected.
Without the opportunity to study the Arts In her earlier days, she would translate her artistic ideas by covering the walls through out her house with acrylic paintings and charcoal drawings .
