Well-versed in visual language and photographic symbolism, she applies her skills to shooting weddings, restaurants, concerts, pets and installation views, but portraiture is her favorite endeavor. Her work has been published in the Czech Republic’s Lime Magazine and The New York Times City Blog. She has shot for the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Metro Magazine, and Jose Dueño Entertainment. She has exhibited with the Puertorican Society for Artistic Photography and presented work in the 2009 Framing AIDS exhibit at the Queens Museum of Art. Her work has been featured in the newspapers El Vocero and El Nuevo Día, as well as the University of Puerto Rico’s magazine, Diálogos.
​Priscilla Mercedes Vázquez is a photographer and designer from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Full of creative energy, she earned a BFA in Media Arts with a concentration in Photography from Pratt Institute in 2009. Subsequently acquiring work experience in the fields of visual communications and fine arts, assisting artists as diverse as, photographer Suza Scalora and painter Lee Quiñones.
She is currently a staff photographer for Access Magazine, and is alway on the lookout for new outlets and means of production.
